Self Care For Everyday Life

Self Care For Everyday Life

In this episode of The Empathic Parent, I'm joined by Suzy Reading, psychologist, yoga teacher and health coach, to talk about self care as a daily practice.

We chat about:

  • The importance of a self care toolkit

  • Making self care accessible and easy to do

  • Using the Vitality Wheel to find what might nourish you in the moment

  • The importance in understanding your values

  • Engaging in self care as a family

  • Savoring life moments

  • Learning self care from children

  • Common barriers to self care

  • The micro moments approach to start a self care practice

Self care is a nourishing act that nurtures you in this moment AND the person that you are becoming.
